2018 Grenache

This Grenache runs the gamut from fruity and floral to herbal and savory.  The nose is bright with notes of candied cherry, raspberry, orange zest, and sage.  The palate is pleasingly rich and textured, with good grip from the tannins to balance the fruit and acidity.  There is a mild spiciness from flavors of star anise and cardamom on the palate, as well as a savory note of beef tartare.
