Double Gold, Best of Class at the Amador County Fair!
Bright, crisp, clean and refreshing! Destemmed and crushed followed by 24 hours of skin contact. Pressed into a tank for settling prior to racking and starting fermentation in a temperature controlled stainless steel tank. The finished wine is aged on the lees in stainless steel barrels until filtering (because of malic acid being present) and bottling with minimal sulfites. Beautifully aromatic with refreshing acidity, granitic minerality, orange blossom, fresh herbs, fresh cut grass, papaya, D'anjou pear, and bright grapefruit. A wonderful summertime wine!
