An Estate Field Blend of predominately, Grenache, with the remainder made up of Mourvedre and Tempranillo. Harvested specifically for this Rose at varying degrees of ripeness give the wine complexity not achieved in single varietal expressions. Aged in a combination of Stainless Steel and a small Amphora made of cocciopesto (Clay/terracotta/sand). The wine was aged on the lees for 6 months prior to being bottled unfined.
Floral aromas and fresh sage combine with bright fruit made up of tart strawberry and peach, watermelon rind and citrus. An intriguing texture unlike any I've experienced due to the combination of bright acidity, mild creaminess and weight from the lees aging and minerailty from the amphora.
